Maryvale Schools Continuing Education Classes are held 4 times per year.
Cardiovascular Self Defense for Women
Why take aerobics? Mandarin Kung Fu offers an intense cardiovascular workout with additional benefits of self defense. This is a Self Defense course for women that employ the animal movements of Mandarin Kung Fu. The class is structured for serious minded students interested in a good cardiovascular workout & is an excellent primer for our Kung Fu classes.

Get In Shape During Your Lunch Hour
Busy schedule? Work evenings? Train kung fu during your lunch hour. We are offering an intense cardiovascular workout in Mandarin Kung Fu using animal movements for self defense. The class is structured for serious minded students interested in training traditional kung fu.
5 Tuesdays / 11:30 am to 12:00 pm
classes begin 7/1/08
Fee: $20 / SC: $13
Youth Self Defense & Character Development (ages 6 to 10)
This class will introduce students to Mandarin Kung Fu. The focus will be on Self Defense, Discipline, Manners & Respect. The traditional kung fu training will also provide students with a good physical workout.

Overview
Get into shape and train your mind while learning to defend yourself. These are special courses in simple self defense, employing the animal movements of kung fu.
Instruction will be geared towards people concerned with the perils of today's environment and will also serve as an excellent primer for students interested in serious martial arts training. Basic blocking, punching and kicking techniques will be covered, as well as attack situations. Common sense and precautions will be stressed.
Mandarin Kung Fu does not charge for these lessons and donates them as a community service. All proceeds go directly to Maryvale Schools.
